At SDS Life Science you will help our clients with problems related to the chemical-farmaceutical development of a medicine, from early pre-clinical phase all the way to market approval. Responsibilities
- Guide clients from a scientific and regulatory perspective, focusing on chemical and pharmaceutical development of the drug.
- Take responsibility for gap analyses, and develop programs for the chemical-pharmaceutical part of drug development.
- Lead and follow up development plans and help the client to hire and pilot CDMO:s
- Write the chemical-pharmaceutical part of application for regulatory approval. For example, IMPD and MAA.
You will be working in a product development team together with the client. In some cases, other experts from SDS will be in the project as well, which promotes a close collaboration. There are other CMC-focused consultants at SDS so there is a possibility for mentorship.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a background in life science with a long experience of the chemical/pharmaceutical development of medicines. You have an eye for critical reviews and interpretation of both development plans and results. Experience in processing data and writing reports and regulatory documents is a must-have. You handle both Swedish and English in written and spoken form with ease.
Experience in substance development, analysis and manufacturing is highly meritorious, as well as experience in developing biological drugs and new modalities.
Personal qualities
We put great weigt in personal qualities. For example, an interest in working interdisciplinary and cross-functionally, as well as your ability to communicate knowledge. AS a consultant, you will be working with several types of clients and by extention, it is crucial that you have the softs skills to cooperate.

We offer a permanent employment and your starting date is upon agreement with us. Your employer will be SDS Life Science and you will be working in either Stockholm, Uppsala or Lund. Our office in Stockholm will be moving from Danderyd to Hagastaden in September 2022.
